Head on collision
I applied for a job on the 29th of September at 5 on the 29th of September my son got married on the 30th of September at 12 in the afternoon I got in a head-on collision and I've been in the hospital ever since I tried sending an email to Volvo to tell them that I couldn't make an interview because I got in a head-on collision but I got no response I tried sending an email to you all I got no response so to say that I did not follow up is not true I'll be in the hospital for at least another week and then I can't walk because I have a broken hip a broken pelvic and broken ribs so I cannot walk for a minimum of 3 months I can put no weight whatsoever on my right side. I would rather have a job then sittingin hospital all broken up like Humpty Dumpty. So all's I can say is I will get back to you in January when I get released from the doctor.
Hi Cyn Duff I am so sorry, but thank goodness you are ok! That must have been pretty terrifying. I hope you heal very soon. As for the interview, I would move forward and apply when you are able to go on interviews. A few years ago when I was looking for work my best friend died suddenly. I had an interview and of course, had to cancel it. They never contacted me again after I reached out to reschedule. Life happens, but the important thing is that you are ok and on the road to recovery. Were you able to apply for disability? The government has many assistance programs you can utilize to help during this time. I am thinking of you! Now can be a great time to update your resume and think about what type of job you'd like to get!
