Dishwasher Prep at The Chefs Table

c.king

I was offered a pet-sitting job by email. The man I corresponded with said he was going to pay me for a week I never worked. He said it was his way of showing me that he was for real. I really don't know what to think of this. Has any one had anything like this happen to them?Just wondering if it's too good to be true.

OH I forgot to add-- especially if he asks you to take any money out of the check he sent you to send anywhere or use for anything, that's a GIANT sign that it's a fake check scam.

Oh Candice, that doesn't sound good at all. Is he also out of the country? Does his email include a lot of spelling or grammatical errors? If any of this is true, it sounds SUPER shady to me.

Why would someone who is for real pay you extra to prove it? That right there makes me think he's trying to scam you.

Also did you apply to this job? Or did this man reach out to you? If he reached out to you, AHH SCAM.

Personally I'd avoid this, it sounds shady to me!

Feel free to reach out to me at askemily@jobcase.com if you have any questions.
