Bought a cup and got fired!
I was working for a casino recently. An employee who worked the cash register for 2yrs told me a cup for soda was a quarter. Didn’t feel anything wrong so I purchased the cup. This happened maybe two more times when I was still training one of the crew working register charged me full price and I told her the conversation I had with the other person so she said she understands and gave me the cup. Next day I go in and I’m told I need to be spoken to in the managers office they began to question me about the cup. Said I was in the wrong and had to pay full price said no problem and I told them about why I paid that price and that multiple people had sold me a cup for that price and the next day I was fired for being too honest about the cups I had bought previously.

Wow...how stupid of them not to just make you pay and keep you on the payroll. God will find you another job! Pray
Been in the situation as a manager where employees are not being charged the proper price and it's a systemic problem in the store at that point you cannot tell who is telling you the proper story and due to the fact that numbers don't lie and they're telling you that your people are lying sometimes you're forced to clear house to make the business profitable it's an unfortunate fact of businesses with small profit margins and yes restaurants are businesses with small profit margins
