I'm 60 and two years ago I lost my long term job. I got another position but just couldn't keep up with all the reporting and was laid off after a year. Got a direct temp position for two months. Then in October I had knee replacement surgery. I was off for three months with no income. Thank God for my children and an understanding landlord. In January they hired me back for what should have been permanent but after my 90 days was let go. It has been over a month now and I can't even land a temporary job. I'm a month behind on car note since I never caught up from being off. I'm desperate for work but I'm dealing with disabilities too. Can't get my disability if I'm working. Can't survive if I don't work. I'm stuck. I'm afraid. And I'm worried about my future. Need some encouragement and advise. Thank you.
