Sad
Hi all I recently applied for what I call my dream job. Pay good and full benefits and decent hours. Everything was going in a positive direction did the interview and passed the physical test all went well. The last time I spoke to the HR person she said as long nothing pops up with background check it should be fine. Well for two days now I have not received any response to my emails or voicemail. I may have messed up on my former employment for reason of leaving that's a different story. In any case this was my one golden ticket out of my current job. I feel I'm missing something I know an employer is not obligated to tell you why they stopped in the hiring process. A common professional courtesy would be nice. Would appreciate some advice in where to go from here. Perhaps I should be more thankful for what I have just very disappointed.

You should be more thankful! Amen

most jobs do a credit check.

i like to join

Then again Randolph, they just might not be that into you. If that's true, now what? Are you going to a detour into depression? Go on a candy, alcohol binge? It looks like you are just going to sit around and let this company decide your fate and well being. You miss every shot you don't take. Snap out of it and keep looking! Sometimes we have to make a job out of looking for one. If we don't, we really are SAD, SORRY, DISAPPOINTED, DISMAL, HEARTBROKEN, MELANCHOLY, PESSIMISTIC SOMBER AND BEREAVED! Now is that what you want?

Don't give up!! That may ended up being a job u dread going to work each day. Keep looking, keep searching it will come.. I have the same thing just happen to me...Yes it's frustrating, but don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Background checks can take sometime. Be patient you WILL get it

Bckgnd chks take time could be up to three weeks. Don't give up hope yet. Stay in touch in a week or so with HR

Some background checks could take a see ir two weeks. Keep praying you still got a shot.

Same thing here. In march did my test for TDCJ but forgot I had 1 day deferred adjudication. Took them 2 and a half months. I cannot reapply for a year. Would like to think God has another better plan for me
Never bow down 2 just be happy 4 what u got, if ure not really happy with what u guy, my friend. If u really believe that job is ur job, let them know, and go get ur job. Staying at a place u don't want 2 be at, will only help pay ur bills, and never give u the important emotional satisfaction u, ur fam, and quite frankly the company itself the best of u. So I say no don't stop and accept, get that job that's going 2 display the best u have 2 offer, otherwise that job is going 2 make u look older than u r. Good wishes
