Should I stay or should I go?

I was offered a job making 1.50$ less then my current job but double the hours with benefits. Would you stay at old job or go to the new job?

I would go with the new position that offers the benefits, the benefits are part of your salary package which includes vacation. You have control of the negotiations. Maybe ask for a salary review after three months, something among those lines. As stated before benefits is an important aspect for you.

Hello, I would go with the new job plus benefits. As it was stated before, the benefits is part of your salary package. Remember you can control the negotiation of accepting the new job, like seeking an adjustment in salary after three months. Something among those lines.

Don't accept without negotiating, ask them for more. Your offer was made knowing that you are currently employed. Simply explain that you would love to work for them if they can maintain your salary. You have nothing to lose . Go for it!

All depends how stressful your current job is.it's my experience that there is unnecessary bs in any job.I've learned that in these situations that sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don't.now if your not getting benefits in your current job the minor Pay cut would be worth it. Hope this helps!

new one honestly... Benefits are awesome.. I am a tax preparer right now, and see so many people getting fined by Obama due to not having insurance.

You should figure in benefits as income or the total employment package. More hours could lead to overtime pay but having access to health and wealth benefits is a big plus. Go with the new job.

Hey Stefine, I think if the hours of the new job are what you are looking for and you will enjoy it more than your current job, then go for it!!
