You GOT this!!
Sick of being turned away because you have a resume gap? Guess what - it used to happen to me all the time. I was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years, and I needed to do more with my life. But employers thought otherwise. So you know what I did? I worked hard. I called every employer I applied to. I asked everyone I met if they knew of anyone who was hiring. I walked into places with hiring signs on their doors. And guess what? I GOT HIRED. And I know you can too!!!

most hiring managers have issues themselves and are failures in their eyes and personal lives, this failure clouds their vision to see and recognize good in others. in my opinion, a successful homemaker has a proven track record of commitment, dedication and goal. and this is what good workers bring to work. A positive attitude and an open mind capable of learning and delivering greater success.

Hi Nancy I wanna join with u. Your work

Thank you so much , I really needed to read this today because I have the same issue.

While I was working as a union operator, My wife was in college 12 years total. To get her RN!! Now she works for VCMC as an R N so I have been able to be home. If there's a gap in my resume , don't know what to say.. I'm an a class heavy equipment operator, grading foreman.. and. Motor Grader hand ... Top union or non union pay scale .. so. If you don't have. Grading jobs at top scale. Don't bother sending me any more. Emails

Yes. I believe GOD will get you where you need, it does take that initiative on our end though...As we wander through life tinkering with his plan, he will be there and sometimes those jobs you think you want but can't have, are only door ways to a bigger and better way, don't get discouraged and keep opening and knocking on those doors............Trust in him.....

good vibes. Well done

I'm trying believe me but people in charge of job offers don't want to hear it. How can taking time off to be a mother and mind a household not be valuable an applicable experience in any job? It's a mystery to me but thanks for the words of encouragement today nancy.

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I can't give up, and I won't give up!
