My name is Zach Torbett, I've applied for this position online several weeks ago and subsequently called Tim to make sure he had seen my application a number of times just as I was directed to when I came into the store to apply initially. I was told by Tim ,the manager that he was going over applications and he had seen mine and when he was through looking at all of them someone would call. Then on another occasion when I called Tim told me his assistant was reviewing applicants and he wasn't sure where she was in the process. I'm very interested in the position and see it continues to be posted as open. I want to make sure my application is still on file for for this position. Thank you for your consideration. Your Perseverance is Admirable Zach! I checked the job opening listed for the Glenpool, OK location but didn't see a close date for applications. You already walked in and applied online, talked to the department manager, and assistant so maybe you can follow up using a written approach to the store manager or contact person you mention in the post (Tim). Write a brief cover letter detailing your strengths and skills that make you qualified for the job and you would be open to an interview at his earliest convenience. Don’t forget to mention that you already applied and make sure all your contact information is clearly visible on the letter.
Send the letter then give him another week or so to respond but in the meantime continue to look for other opportunities.
