Notice me!!!

So I've been to a ton of job fairs recently. They're all okay, but I feel like it's SOOO hard to get a hiring manager to notice you. How can I stand out, especially in a sea of other applicants who are basically my competition?

Stay strong, focused, steadfast, and prayed up! When you fall down get back up! Shed a few tears get all pain out and regroup and keep fighting at it! And claim it and you'll get right one for your personality!

Hi Jess,

Job Fairs are not a great place to make a direct connection with the employer. Many companies are just collecting resumes and you have a small amount of time to make your pitch. I suggest you make a list of companies that are hiring in your target area. After you do this, reach out to the company directly and try to set up an informational interview where you would inquire and learn more about the company. Another thing that you can do is collect business cards when you go to these job fairs, send them a thank you note and or a follow up email. Hang in there.
