Well I had a job interview at Macy's yesterday, as soon as me and two other other girls enter the human resource office we are told that the jobs have been filled... I am 28year-old single mother with two daughters and I have 12year work experience and I put in over 59 applications and only one call for a interview.

Shannon, this may or may not help, but I have a suggestion for you that was suggested by someone else to me, and it actually worked for me. After any interview, no matter how good or bad it goes, send a "thank you" note to the interviewing company's HR representative. This simple gesture sets you apart from the crowd and pushes you to the head of the line. A follow-up call a short while later should put you on their radar screen. Try it and see if it won't help.
