I need tools to develop tolerance in work.

for the past years I directed several departments, for bipartisan political reasons, they removed me from my area, which does not bother me because I work and I adapt very well in any area. However I do not tolerate the icompetent people.

It could be a problem with training or the person that preceded you wasn't interested in educating them

I know it can be hard to tolerate incompetence, however, sometimes we might have research the source of their incompetence. Patience can go a long way to both create a great employee and ease your own stress when it comes to someone not as sharp as you. Maybe this person is stuck in methodology of a previous employer and is having problems learning the new way to do things. It maybe easier and more productive to find out just what is going on with this person. They may be over enthusiastic or fearful of not being perfect or even fearful of you. Look into what tools you may have to help these individuals become better employees. If you have exhausted all those avenues, start that paper trail and get them out of there. As long as you know you did your part, you're good. These are suggestions. They are not meant to imply you do not know what you are doing.
