Hired

After 7 months I got hired. But the only problem is it's a temp job that's only 6 weeks. The pay is $27/hr so I will work as much as I can in those 6 weeks. Hopefully the money will last 2-3 after project completion. I'm hoping the temp agency can place me somewhere else after, but will continue to look for a full time position. Other than that I haven't sniffed a job in 7 months.

Sometimes temp job are just that because even if the company wants to hire you, the buyout on the contract is too high.

Temp jobs often lead to permanent. But keep in touch with your agency and tell them when your assignment is ending. They might have another job for you to start.

Keep your head up brother. I have seen many a temp job become permanent. Dont become complacent just because someone gives you a vague discription of what you will be doing. Do your best, and keep your head held high. Do this and a permanent placing will be not to far off.

I was told by many people that doing temp jobs are goid, because sometimes the job could become permanent. I have been looking for a job for almost a year. I have been applying to jobs on indeed, zip recruiter, and monster. I have never been called in for an interview. I signed on with a temp agency last month. I had one interview and will have another one this week. Keep applying to all jobs you are qualified for.and think positive.
