Semi Retired

Diverse Resume

I worked in Healthcare for the last 20 years in middle management I had to retire early to take care of my ailing mother who lived with me. I worked part time as an opthamolic assistant for VisionWorks in H’ville. I had to quit there after a year because my mom got very sick again. She passed away last December. Since I started drawing my social security early I don’t draw close to what I would if I had been 66. I sold my house almost two years ago and have been living off the proceeds. I’m fabulous at customer service and proper use of telephone etiquette. I taught it in all my management positions. I’m 68 and very sharp with great people skills. I will only work in Gallatin I’m comfortable enough with my skills to say that if I don’t get hired for a position because of my age, I will know it. Please don’t read that as a threat but that I have that much confidence. I’ve been in banking, accounting, sales but mostly management. I only want part time as I have done my time in the full-time arena. The long hours, constantly on-call etc. I am a smart worker AND hard worker. No matter what I decide to do I take it seriously and do it well

The best thing to do is start taking record of daily interactions with management. Write down dates, time and people involved. Your note will be as good as legal documentation I you ate meticulous with your approach. After enough info is gathered present I to EEOC
