Wanting a career change. What's the likelihood of obtain it?

All of my jobs where food-service related. I'm trying to get into an administration career. I have applied to jobs such as data-entry or even mail-room clerk. I have yet to get a interview, not even a phone interview. Does anyone have any advise for me? #careers

Career change may seem difficult at first but just list you're transferable skills and see what works with other career interest.

Lead Child Care Worker Ii at Child Help Merv Griffen Village

To whom it may concern, I have alot of experience in many different types of jobs from housekeeping, driving commercially, unarmed security guard, and childcare. My resume reflects on most recent jobs which are childcare worker positions which I am trying to break away from. I feel when I am applying for other types of jobs such as: hospital housekeeper, commercial class b driving, or any other type of jobs with experience I do have, I am not receiving any call backs because I feel employers are only seeing that my most recent history is in the Childcare field only. How do I show that I have experience in other types of jobs other than childcare to where I can be contacted back. This is really becoming frustrated because I am looking for a change in my career and feel like I'm stuck in the childcare industry which I am ready for a change. Please help.

Hey Brandon You can definitely make this transition.
Suggestion, why don't you finish your profile so I, and other helpful jobcasers, can better suggest ideas on how u position, where u apply, etc. You can upload a resume and jobcase will automatically populate your profile - or do it yourself, it's pretty easy. Also suggest a good pic smiling at the camera and would be great to use the praise button to get friends, bosses or coworkers to support you too.
In meantime, keep getting 2-3 apps in per day - just search in our jobs section. It's a numbers game getting a job, and every app gets u 1 step closer. Drop me a line after your profiles done... Look forward to thinkin bout how u can better position for your transition... Fred
