Being Pregnant Got Me Fired
Came into work on Monday and my boss called me into his office. he told me my work productivity has been low in the past month. I can't help my it because I have morning sickness so much recently with being pregnant. I still come to work even tho i feel like crap because I know I need to still do my work. Can i file for discrimination?

Does your boss know that you're pregnant? That could make a difference.

Yes you can that is not right

I'm not sure it would be discrimination, now if you were told "you're fired because you're pregnant" that may be a different issue. You didn't go into great detail and that's perfectly fine, I'm sure you're frustrated and very emotional at this point. I'm also not sure if you made them aware of the pregnancy before you were called into the office but it seems that it would have been beneficial to you if you had a reasonable accommodation form with specific info from your doctor regarding your limitations while pregnant. I believe that would have protected you during your pregnancy also depending on your length of time there you may have qualified for FMLA which would have also covered you to some extent.

Oh no I'm so sorry :(

That wouldn't be considered discrimination.... but if you are feeling sick to the point of not being able to do your job, that is what personal/sick days are for.... sorry to be harsh..

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry that happened to you! Did you try talking to him about it at all? Is he aware you are pregnant?
Would he be open to adjusting your hours, so you can work more later in the day once the sickness passes?
