Got good news... An interview I had last week on April 21st, just called me today to let me know I am hired! Gal was going to make a decision by today so all morning I woke up with not much high hopes and I was just about to keep filling out applications, going on interviews, and just take whatever comes my way, if anything! Even downgrade from my 28 plus years of office experience and customer service, and do retail for all I know! When she gave me the good news I about cried and I thanked her many times.. she told me she liked our interview and personality and that I would be a great fit! It's been two weeks today without a job! Now, I have to take a test as it has to do with insurance and I cannot start until I have completed successfully the course (I think!), so I am waiting for her email! I am going to finish my yoga session and head out to get at least the book. She will be emailing information on how to get started with the testing. All I have got to say is, when you feel like you are in a tight spot in your job hunt, keep working at it. How I did it? I still got up at 5AM, and sat on my computer for 8 hours as if it was a job, which it actually is when you are job hunting! I committed to doing just that, since the day I was let go, on April 12th! If I can do it, you can do it! No excuses, no buts, and like the Nike slogan says, "Just do it!"
