Relocated to California and need help finding a job!
My husband was offered a job opportunity that he could not pass by and we recently relocated from Chicago, IL to West Covina, CA. We don't have friends or family here and it's not been easy for me to meet people that can help advise where I might find work, etc...
My previous job was in a top school district in Naperville, IL for the past 10 yrs. I was an Administrative Assistant for 3 Assistant Principals and then a Guidance Secretary at 2 high schools.
I'm willing to change style of work as long as it's not in sales and building my own business. So far, it seems like the only people integrated in contacting me are insurance and financial companies looking for sales reps.
Please help me find a job soon!
I hope that you have registered with a temporary/permanent agency. Have you checked to see if your state that you moved from pays re-location unemployment insurance? Anyway, just block those calls from the insurance and financial companies. They are so annoying. Good look
