Frustrated!
I'm tired and frustrated that I can't get hire cause of a background check. I got turned down by 4 companies job offer after they ran a background check on me, and see a felony charge on my record then I get a phone call or an email saying they have to reject of the offer caused they don't hire anyone with a felony that is less than 7 years. I got a college degree, 10 years of. Management and machine operation experience, but it don't matter if you have a felony on your record.
I have a similar situation, even though mine was 25 years ago.
Move to Ohio there's so many jobs they don't even care if you can pass a drug test all Felons are welcome. I think the job site is: Felons for Hire.com. give it a try. Good luck
I'm in the same boat...and at 36 old have all the credentials. .but my background doesn't pan out

Yeah, some companies have strict hiring practices and offer no flexibility to applicants that fall outside their hiring standards. Nothing you can do about that so don't dwell on it too long and keep looking for a company willing to offer you a second chance.
