Hey Richard, I understand your point but keep in mind that companies like McDonalds have tens of thousands of location within the US alone so there are more jobs available. Companies that cater job opportunities in specialized careers, like Engineering, are much more competitive and require a much more extensive job searching process. Theres an Engineering job fair event happening in Detroit at the end of the month that I think would be an excellent venue for you to talk to directly to hiring managers in your industry.
