Hi Kristy, I am sorry to hear you are having a tough time finding the right position since 2014.
Oklahoma state gov does provide some vocational and employment services for those with hearing issues. Here is a link that might prove helpful to you. I suspect they will have a selection of employers in your area that are friendly to the challenges you face. The link is below (if it doesn't just link out from this site, then copy it and paste it in your browsers url section and hit go - should work fine).
Good luck #fred

Hi Kristy:

Don't give up! You might need to get a little creative with your job search. Since you've worked as a substitute teacher in the past, I recommend contacting schools within commuting distance and letting them know you're interested in working with them. Ask for an email address where you can send your resume (you can send your Jobcase profile via email!). Follow up with each school after about a week, as this shows you're enthusiastic about working with them.

If you're hard of hearing, I recommend disclosing this when meeting with people or talking with them over the phone. People may not realize they're being rude, so when you're forthright about your hearing, they can adjust their behaviors. Above all, stay persistent!! There might be some jobs you won't hear from, but you only need to hear from one to get a job :)
