Where are you applying?
Now that the jobs at Toys R Us are at the end of their journey where is everyone going now? A few folks at my store are headed to work at Walmart. I applied for a management position over there but so far not so good. Any other good spots for those of us who have worked in retail for a very, very long while? Hmm, where else to apply? What to do?

Try goodwill! They have all sorts of job opprunities. If not there at there stores, then they have a lot of job sources. Check them out!

If you are less than 70 years of age, there is only one place in the USA you should be headed if you need a job and that is SAN FRANCISCO! Seriously! Your quality of life will suck at first but within a couple years you will be making more money than all of your friends doing something absurd for it or maybe just surfing the web all day. Nobody wears a tie anymore except for cops and lawyers. There are more jobs than people by many times over. It is difficult to manage the homeless and the drugs and crime but you will figure it out. It isn't very dangerous here as far as getting shot and killed or stabbed and killed goes...it's more like your bike gets stolen like 5 times a year or your car......

I just keep applying everywhere. Don't know where you people are living but Macy's is hiring now

Family Dollar is always hiring, not a good place to work. You should fit in management with your experience. They are everywhere.

Try looking up online what retail stores are hiring. Temp jobs pick you quicker than any company. Especially when it's difficult getting in. Good Luck

Try Target or Kohl's. If you have worked at sales you have a chance at any place even drug stores. Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid they all do the same thing just in smaller buildings. Management is also available. Best of luck and God bless. Fyl: try Indeed.com or CareerBuilders.com.

Best to live off the government James it's awesome
