Business interview outfit

This is a typical business attire to wear for an interview. Also, I know piercing are in, but as a rule I would take any eyebrow rings, nose rings out because it doesn't look professional. Also, most companies do not like tattoos as a rule so I would wear long sleeves to cover.

That's fine, until you don't wear long sleeves after you get the job. Tats go in phases, and over the long haul I have not seen them accepted in business. Nobody minds a flower on your ankle, but the full blown long sleeve doesn't tend to be looked at professionally. If a company hires you, and then finds a condition they didn't know about, the company typically looks at surprises as negatives.

That is especially helpful for those of us 50-somethings. In our day, it was the navy blue suit; no exceptions. And pearls, if you had them. Always had to wear stockings (and I would for an interview if in a skirt and blazer). I love the red pop in her heels. I think tan would work as well but the red might be more memorable. What do you think?
