Hardees in cookeville TN is the worse place to work first off when I was hired on i was promised 9.25 an hour the whole time I worked there I was only paid 8.25 the gm was supposed to fix it never did then I got my niece a job and they jerked her around so she quit and she has been gone from there for almost 3 weeks and she still hasn't been paid..and back to my situation come to find.out the gm walked out and quit so the day I didn't show up the acting gm and district manager called me and I told them the only way that I would come back is if NY pay was fixed and I got my back pay from where u was screwed out of a dollar an hour for months. So the gm told the acting gm that she didn't know what back pay I was talking about that I didn't call or anything to just take me off the schedule which was fine but im really thinking about talking to an attorney that's just crazy. Also they cant keep employees because the place is ran so poorly its nasty dirty in the back nothing is ever cleaned but the grill when they switch from breakfast to lunch. Its the worse place I have ever worked for i don't know about any other states but here in TN its also known as CKE but I do not recommend at all for anyone to work there. I wouldn't even let my teenager start out there as their first job.
