Hello Everyone! I am in the same boat, but after much research, I found that Michigan and a handful of states are passing the "Clean Slate Bill" to expunge up to 2 felonies and 4 misdemeanors if you have been a model citizen for ten years, you've paid all fines and restitutions, and completed any parole or probatiion requirements. Unfortunately, there are some felonies that do not qualify. Ex. crimes against children, anything having to do with an assault, etc. I hope this gives some of you out there some hope!! Kerri

WOW, Awesome information Kerri Griffin ! This is another positive step forward for second chance applicants.

I wasn't aware they had a "Clean Slate" bill on the docket. This is a Super Helpful Find. I'm not sure how many struggling second chance applicants fall within the 10 year eligibility requirement but I'm still hopeful many will be relieved. Thanks so much for sharing :-)
