This is a great post as it's about being positive and having the right attitude. Life is hard, and being hard on yourself is easy when things are not going as planned. Keep moving forward with the positive mentality and things will change..

I believe in being honest with yourself and I think some of this is terrible advice. You don't want to let doubt and insecurity destroy your strength and ego . you must have faith that you can do things well and with care, but don't kid yourself either.I see telling oneself you're awesome is for kids. Most ppl if they try and concentrate are capable of doing a good job or if they screw up can admit they screwed up but learn from it. Keeping a realistic perspective is healthy in that you don't over or underestimate your abilities. We are all distinct creatures, it's what makes people interesting, but be sure there are many people that can do many things you do and some of them better. You are competing out there in job market. It's good to realise that while others have skills you may have that there is still a job for you because even if someone can do the job you're trying to get , you are at least equally as proficient in doing the job and you can impress upon a potential boss that you'll do the job and be consistent. Maybe others can do this job but ill always show up on time work a lil later if need, be pleasant to co workers and customers and seek to advance myself for the good of personal betterment and the company's benefit. In short, there's a pool of people that can do this job , you need one of them and ill be able to do the job but also bring concientiousness to the job. Ill care. And really caring is huge.the rest I agree with.you are the person who can make tomorrow better and sure you can do this. Millions of people do everyday. There's something to be said for being like millions of others. Not in stroking one's ego for being special or awesome but in others knowing the common task you do will be done with care and because of that you are reliable and trustworthy. That's really worth something to an employer. Wouldn't that make a big difference to you? Cheers and good luck

2018 has been a hard year for me. I've been searching for a job for over a year now with no luck, my wife left me for another man, I'm losing my house, lost my grandmother and as of today I'm watching my mother in the hospital fighting for her life. So it's very difficult to stay positive. It's hard not to panick and be desperate for a job. I am open to any advice from anyone because I feel extremely lost in the big picture.
