Happy Friday all. And Happy birthday month to myself and all the cancers.

This week has been interesting. I currently work at Aetna as a tester making 20ish and hour. I received a call from a recruiter last month who wanted to submit me for position with Comcast making 30ish an hour. I sent a bs email and resume not caring, thinking I wouldn’t be considered for the position.

Well this week I did a technical phone interview and the same day while I was buying a car, I received a call. My recruiter told me the client didn’t like any of the initial candidates they interviewed but loved my background and knowledge. They offered me the job skipping the in-person two hour interview.

I’m so excited now see how I was living in my car for three months last year and now I’m back in grind mode. I haven’t even finished my degree yet because I owe so much money so I’ve just been working and compiling business ideas.

Just sharing this to let those know who are losing hope that it is possible. I’ve done it and I spent 3-6 hours a day just spamming resumes as much as possible until someone gave me a shot. Don’t give up!
