Confused and Lost
So I had got into a interview with Aldis , the district manager said there is 3 steps. I already had went to two and it was with the district manager and the store manager. I thought it went well. The store manager on Friday said the district manager would call me around 6 or 7 on Monday for the next step if wanted to continue. I never got a call back on Monday and called and left a voicemail for the district manager. I also today went over to the store and one of managers said she isnt here or the store manager I was interviewed with. I'm very confused and lost, they didnt say that I was not going to get a call if they weren't interested so should I be waiting patiently for a call? I still have a gut feeling this opportunity is awaiting for me. Please help! I'm freaking out!
Hi Taylor Ford , your anxiety this close to the end of the hiring process is completely understandable. District Managers for large supermarket chains link Aldi's are busy people. They probably got called to another store to resolve a concern there but I'm sure they haven't forgotten you.
The best thing to do is the only thing you can do which is remain patient , keep following up, and most importantly keep searching for jobs. Try to follow up every other day or so in order to bot appear too desperate.
