Recent graduate!! looking for a job since May. No luck yet.
I just graduated with a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. I have experience as a healthcare Administrator intern. I also have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I have applied to many jobs with no luck. Does anyone have any advice? It will be appreciated Thanks!

There are some jobs in drug rehab establishments where your Bachelor of Psychology will come into play. Plus if you help people out you will feel like your giving back to the community. Might be a good beginning for your career.

At the risk of busting your chops, it seems that with all of your schooling experience you won't have any problems you won't have any issues when they give you the job of scrubbing the toilet bowls in the public restrooms. And if you don't think for a second that stuff like that doesn't happen oh child are you going to be in for a rude awakening. I also such as yourself have had many years of education mine was in the field of computer science computer programming systems analysis the actual building of computers in a computer Factory known as Epson but did they take me right in hell no I started in the company cleaning the public washrooms to the area that I did have schooling for and I'm just guessing but if that happens in the computer business chances are it's going to be happening in other businesses with their jobs also it's what they do.

I'm open for whatevers. available

Take, your educate iff. I had to take my masters degrees off. Then I got interviews and jobs. You get eliminated because they think you want more money. Plus I only listed 15 years experience and took my graduation dates off. They don't like pld.

I receive many opportunities via e-mail from Senior Living Centers, such as Brookdale, Sunrise, Carrington, etc. They should be receptive to your experience and resume! Also, RUSH Hospitals, both downtown Chicago and Oak Park are offering many openings in their facilities.

Also consider medical health plans and dental plans at least to get your foot in the door, then look to move into your preferred field.

It is a hard sell when you a rec grad....but you as I did have admin ex.....doesnt matter .....your still in the pool. Good luck !!!!! I am sure you will find some before me.

Try at MIHS.....they have a lot of psych props there.

Just keep on keeping on. Good things are headed your way just don't give up....
My son has a B.A. in Psychology and he hasn't had luck finding a job in that field. They all require additional education, so he works at a call center until he completes his education.
