Interviews, Questions?
So what is up with these interviews that ask ridiculous questions such as...If you run out of gas going to work, what do you do, how did you solve the problem, what was the outcome and how did it make you feel? Is this an interview or a therapy session? They say they are looking for "key" words. What are these "key" words? I am so over qualified for these jobs and willing to even take a pay cut. I just want a decent job, for a decent wage and be treated with respect. I am an adult who knows how to make sure I have gas to make it to my employment. Also, I am 50 (I look much younger) and I am interviewed by adults who are 22-26 and look at me like their parents. I dress professional, I don't have a criminal record and speak fluent English. I even went to a few temp agencies and they hired the groups I went in with, except me. I was the only person in these groups who didn't have a criminal record! How is an old timer like myself, who is a respectful citizen, supposed to get a job anymore?
I think they ask you those questions to figure out how well you do with tough situations.
