Does teaching help YOU create change?
Henry Brooks Adams once said, “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” Being an educator is without a doubt an impactful and rewarding profession, but Jobcase wanted to know more, so we asked!
Check out what California teacher Jennifer had to say as she shared her years of teaching experience with Jobcase.
What do you think makes a great teacher?

Carmen: Sorry to hear you are having employment challenges in Florida. Just a thought! You write proficient English - Did you consider teaching an ESL class at the local Vocational Technical School? ... something to keep your spirits-up while you continue to look. Remember: Things move at a slower pace in Florida - don't give up... you only need one offer, right?

I love to teach I did it for 30 years in Puerto Rico. I moved to florida and its so hard here. I have to give it up. Not happy about it.

Everybody remembers something about a teacher. No matter how old u are u will remember the name, a story about 1 teacher in ur life. Every teacher leaves something positive with a child. Mine is my 9th grade teacher Mr. Zimmerman.

It definitely takes an individual cut from a special cloth to want to become an educator. I believe one of the most if not thee career path not given enough praise and appreciation. Without people willing to share their knowledge with others and become educators, how would anyone know anything? The most so called "important" careers, doctors, lawyers, judges, PRESIDENTS, even athletes with multi-million dollar contracts, have all been taught their craft by....a teacher. I've known teachers to come out of pocket for school supplies and even food to feed children that went to school hungry. All the while, a lot counties cant even secure proper health care for those same educators. Yes, you have teachers that show up to school and are merely babysitters, but somewhere at some point on their journey, they were inspired by another teacher or teaching experience and lost their will with the lack of respect or appreciation they had endured early on. I know myself I definitely dont have the patience for it, but I know I wouldnt know things I know and love today if not for those passionate ones I was blessed with in my education.

Please will I qualified for the job

What is wrong with you?

OF COURSE..PLAN AND SIMPLE .USING T HEE BRAIN TO THE FULLEST EXTENT IS AWESOME

That's a whole different level of employment that takes years of training and education during which time you suffer financially because you can't find paid training and education

I believe that a great teacher is one that is passionate, cares, and never wants to stop learning and growing! You also definitely need the ability to inspire others and help them understand. Patience is key in teaching as there will be days where you are frustrated and have 100 plus tests to grade, but the rewards are well worth it. Without sounding cliche, teaching really does change the world! : )
The great teacher when kids coming happy in class
