My Lyft driver saved me
This just happened to me.. I went out this past weekend to meet up with some friends. I was out for a couple hours and when I got home I realized I didn’t have my keys!! After a brief panic I realized that the bar and restaurant didn’t have them, they weren’t in my door or anywhere around.. I ended up trying to the lost item option in the app to call my driver and luckily he had them!! An hour later he was able to stop by and drop them off. It’s a good thing too, I had a graduation to go to in the morning! I thanked him profusely and made sure he got a good tip for going above and beyond.

Good dude

I'm glad you found you keys and the driver had them.

Its good

They also get a bonus from uber/Lyft for returning lost items but usually they return them to the hub office. Glad it worked out.

Are you ever afraid a passenger will hurt or rob you?

I'm also a Lyft driver and I try my best to make all my passengers happy in anyway I can and yes even if it means going above and beyond to do what's right. I posted this in out Lyft community and I thought they would love seeing that a passenger was grateful for what the driver did but they seem to feel the need to complain about everything. Shm, anyways I'm glad to see that you were treated well by a fellow Lyft driver.

Thats not saving you, thats returning your property. Big difference!

I am a Lyft driver. I return things all the time.

Happened to me, too, that's why I'm comfortable with Lyft.
You some honest people still God bless
