Great first impression
Hello everyone, This is my first time on this site, mainly due to the other sites that are similar to this one being used in the wrong way, and I would like to show my appreciation to every post I have seen so far. There is great info, insight, and helpful strategies and comments being passed on to one another. With all I've seen, I am confident that this issue I am having will guide me around this 8-ball I've been trapped behind for some time now. I will explain as soon as I am done with a current situation that I am having right now. It was just all my heart to let everyone know that I commend all of you and appreciate the amount of positivity being passed on. I know I'm kind of making giving a small encouraging word to others a big deal, but throughout my life I have rarely seen people help just to help. Usually, personal gain and "now you owe me" is hiding somewhere behind the false smiles and fake words of "I want to help". I will be posting my situation later. I do want to thank you all for taking the time to read all this. Sorry for the length. You all have a wonderful afternoon.

Alexia, We are glad you are here and you are correct. I have been on many blogs and JobCase is the only site that does not have any negativity to it. It is just ordinary people voicing concerns about employment needs. It is interactive and non-judgemental and people helping other people. It is a sense of community for people of all ages and backgrounds. Feel free to read the inspirational posts from Edward along with Lenin's many informative posts. Again God bless and we are glad you are here. TYJ

like to hear from you. very professional.

No, no. STAY HERE! There are many who log into this humble website in an effort to pick others up off the ground. Don't worry. *** The situation is that your biology isn't worth a scant $2.37. In fact, you're actually a millionaire but don't yet know it. *** Additionally, you're not alone as many have been scratching our heads, wondering ... "Okay Corporate America. What's going on with your applicant tracking systems?" (Adding humor.) What you want to do is connect, connect. Help others. Help yourself. Ask others for input. Reach out frequently. Don't give up. Be tough yet persistent. Now..., watch (Mr.) Fred Goff ... our genuine hero. *** I have been watching Jobcase for a long time now, and exceptional news arrived today. It's absolutely wonderful news. For some reason, many websites are missing the mark because they're having a tough time qualifying powerful people (who need work soon). Hopefully, Jobcase will be the golden resource which will hit the target. 1) https://www.careerconfidential.com will put you ahead of all candidates if you're willing to upgrade your skills. They show you how to create an online marketing campaign that will get your home or cell phone ringing. 2) (Enter the name of your city in Google. Then add behind your city name "workforce initiative". This is a local job bank that will help you motivate forward, but you must be highly persistent in order to connect many dots. 3) Check out U.S. Dept. of Labor ... for stats on jobs ... https://www.dol.gov/ . 4) With Artificial Intelligence arriving now & in the coming years, jobs that are most at risk for reduction are related to low skilled or medical jobs: construction, cab drivers, cashiers, direct service (which will become self-serving), paralegals, attorneys, surgeons, travel agents, tellers. You will have to upgrade your skillset so that you stay ahead of technology. 5) Go here. https://onetonline.org $35,000 link. SAVE THIS LINK and refer back to it often. (This is a powerful job database that will help you screen for "green futures". 6) Many engineers & software engineers will continue to do very well. 7) Financial arenas are shifting. Those who are highly skilled with financials will be in demand. 8) Make a list of your passionate abilities. Then, see if you can list a variety of jobs ... at least 5 - 8 that will fit your personality, interest, profile, and desire. Respectfully, BB, MBA.

To know that others appreciate you and have confidence in your abilities sometimes is all that it takes.

Thrilled to have you part of the community Alexia Francuz ! one suggestion is to update your profile. This way I, other jobcasers and employers can best provide help and connections. Plus you have 1 place to keep all your worklife stuff (including praises from customers/managers/coworkers so you dont lose them when you move from one shop to another). Hope this tip helps, and thanks for taking the time to leave such a kind comment above! Fred
