On an interview you should wear...
First of all, I am “old school” and I have been a recruiter longer than some of the readers have been on the planet. Leading with that disclosure, let me say that I have been a sad confused witness to candidates’ wearing everything from a halter top and shorts to Halloween customs.
Remember people, what your mom told you still holds true in 2017 – you never get a second chance to make a first impression!!!! The approved dress code for most employers in the new millennium is business casual, but that can be tricky for some people. It’s NOT what you wear to the local grocery store, so err on the side of looking your best. feeling your best and being your best. In my opinion the only acceptable interview attire is a suit or at the very least a shirt and tie for men, pants suit – (yes I said it) or professional separates –jacket and a skirt or pants for women. I have seen well qualified candidates rejected from further consideration because they weren’t dressed appropriately. Jeans, tennis shoes, cleavage (yes I said it) Tee-shirts and ball caps won’t get you the job, even if you’re applying for a custodial role. If you really want the job, take the extra effort to look like it, smell like it, talk like it.
Now repeat after me “You never get a second chance………” By Jove, I think you got it!

If it was good enough for my father it is good enough for me. Old School is great.

Well I'm old school too,and I dress at the best I can when I go to a interview,I don't got a lot of money, that's why I'm looking for a job

This is such good advice

Is this info. for kids out of high school ??? Granted , there are a shit load of idiots out there ,...

My best way to come to a interview to make it casual

Beautiful. I. Look. Good. Always

I got it

Mrs. Professional....YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT WHAT YOU WEAR IS NOT IMPORTANT. HOWEVER WHAT YOU SAY..HOW YOU CARRY YOURSELF....BODY LANGUAGE...AND EXPERTISE IN THE FIELD YOU ARE APPLYING FOR ARE ALL VERY IMPORTANT.... AND BY THE WAY MRS. PROFESSIONAL IT IS COSTUME...NOT CUSTOME...LOL

That is so correct. I live in Florida and the heat is horrible. When I go to a job interview I still wear dresses and heels. I am offered jobs, but I decline due to wages being too low. Believe it or not here in Florida they are still trying to pay 9.00 an hour for jobs. Let's not talk about these major healthcare companies like Aetna and United Health Group there salary ranges 13.00 - 13.50 hour. Have the economy not changed since 2003.
