Hoping I can

I've been thinking about working part-time at Lowe's with my friend. She works outside with the plants and garden stuff and really likes it. My parents shop there a lot so I was thinking about dropping off an application. It seems really cool, but I am nervous to tell my other job. Do you think they would let me work somewhere else too? I def could use more money for college.

The only issue I see is maybe the schedule you want it to be a conflict

Head Cashier at Lowes

I’m a former Lowe’s employee. Just make sure you have open availability on the weekends. Personally, I wouldn’t work there. I was there for 5 years and the company has gone to crap since I left. The new ceo has made it very clear he doesn’t care about the employees. Just keep that in mind.

Hi Paige Windeatt -- I would begin by checking your employee handbook to see if the company has a policy about outside work. If there isn't one, talk to your manager and tell them you are interested in applying for a part-time job to save for college and see if they approve. Good luck!
