I suffer from both psych and medical issues for which I take quite a bit of medicine and when I got sick or had a psych issue at work it was usually handled very well by the members of leadership depending on which leaders of membership were addressing said issue. However, on two different occasions I was accused of being asleep when I was actually having a very serious issue with my diabetes for which I was suspended and later terminated (most recent diabetes issue) without receiving any medical attention. The first incident I was merely suspended for about two weeks, but the last time I was suspended then terminated. Even though copies of ALL of my diagnosis and medicines had previously been given to the H.R. department and I was informed by the H.R. director that no incedent report had ever been filed for any of the times that an ambulance had been called there for me.
