I'm New

Hello ladies and gentlemen. Im looking for any advice on how to deal with this little issue of supplementing income to gain a new apartment for my husband and myself. Now he's on dialysis though he hasn't been for long so hes still adjusting. I have applied to quite a few jobs in the last few months and am simply looking for advice on how to keep going.

I agree with Kristen Teller. You're husbands disability will likely set you in a HUD assisted place. Contact the local United Way also. Use the food kitchen available in your town. Or at least Meals On Wheels for him. Apply for Food stamps asap. Find free career training that doesn't have a commitment attached to it. God bless you and continue praying for his guidance. Visit a church or two as well.

I truly believe that you do need a job from home. There are a lot of comments regarding trying to get government assistance as well. I do believe you should check with your local officials to get assistance to help with any medical assistance that you may need.

People are as well offering work from home jobs. I have worked for Sykes before it is a good company.

However , they do not pay much. The normal pay rate is $9.50 an hour. You do have to keep up with a certain mertic as well. Not all programs are more than six months some don't even last 3 months. However, the best thing is Sykes's won't let you go. They'll find another program for you. I would recommend a work-from-home job.

This allows you to ensure that the person who has a disability is able to get your assistance and have you there for support.

Good Morning,

You should contact your local Department of Human Services and go from there. Maybe even consider contacting your local houding authority to apply for a low income apartment

Does he have disability? There is a program where SSI / SSDI pays a caretaker to care for him and that can be a family member or wife and you get paid a little extra for that (a couple hundred bucks a month)

Look for jobs that you would enjoy doing. Pray to God for guidance and wisdom and you may look for jobs in your area by using jobcase, glassdoor and other online job sites. Best wishes and I will keep you in my prayers.

I agree with everyone else, your best option would be to find work from home.
