Have you ever been laid off?
As many of us have learned, the Lowe’s home improvement store is estimated to lay off thousands of workers from assemblers to janitors.
We here at Jobcase are here to support you!
I think we can all agree that losing your job no matter what the circumstance is a very difficult thing to go through.
If you have a few minutes please comment with some advice about a time where you or someone you know was laid off, or even just say hello to those who might be feeling down after losing their jobs at Lowe’s.
Every kind word you share matters to someone!

I've seen the stress that being laid off can have on an individual as well as their family. My advice to Jobcase members who might be effected is to lean on this wonderful community for words of encouragement and positivity during this difficult time - we are here for you!

I am glad that I have my family to help me sometimes with my bills. But I want to give back to them now so I am looking for a good job.

I was laid off a couple of times and it really sucked. I was so upset and I didn't know what I would do to pay bills. But I stayed in school and made it work.

Good morning respected friend

I really want jobcase to find me work

I need to work with lowees

Part time

I can't believe Lowe's is laying off there doing great business. I am a tile installer and lowes sends me alot of work I need to hire help I am in ilion n.y. if any body ner me wants a job I am willing to trian

I sure hope this is not true. My Husband works for LOWES and has for many years. We have already had one scare. One day they just told him they were eliminating his potion and if he wanted to continue working there he would have to find another hiring position. Thank Goodness he did. But he had to go to another store and learn a whole new department.
Well I was not layed by Lowes. I had resigned under duress. The store manager told me that he was not going to make me a full time employee with no explanation as to why. I had been with Lowes as a part time permanent employee for over 2 years. Attendence record was not bad. No real complaints from customers. Was recognized by various deparment managers for my performance. I always struved to be diligent in helping customers. Being the fact that I was living in temporary housing and pay was inconsistent due to my status. Also with no full time benefits could not adequately take care of my health needs. Though fortunate enough to be healthy. Therefore with absolutely no future as a full time employee I was forced to quit.
