Need some advice

I am having an issue with a coworker and don't know what my next step should be. I have used my chain of command and verbalized my issues with no results. Our issues are creating somewhat of a hostile work environment and I feel he is trying to get me terminated. Should I seek legal services because my company seems as if they just want to sweep it under the rug and not address it.

Sometimes you have to inform your management and HR with the word: "Exposure". as in if you properly document these issues, then they're putting themselves in a position to be Liable if there is ever a successful lawsuit against the company. Not that you're threatening to sue, but you can't ever tell what others in a similar situation would do.

Have you talked to this coworker? It might be that Management that you talked to feel you are creating drama over what they consider a trivial matter. I am only assuming this since they have not done anything to resolve the issue. Tread carefully here. If you want to risk rocking the boat yoi could also go to HR

Good luck

Legal representation may or may not be the answer it really depends on the hostility that you are being exposed to and the reasons why nothing is being done with it. Are you being treated this way because of your race, gender, religion, some other factor? The truth of the matter is your boss in your coworkers have the right to treat you like crap they just don't have the right to treat you like crap because they are being discriminatory. So that leaves you with a decision to make. Know that if you begin legal proceedings you are likely going to be facing a constructive terminations when you have to leave your job. And that is if an attorney even thinks there's enough money in it to bother with. I would start looking for a different job, mind your p's and q's, and document everything Making sure to print all emails and correspondence and even recording conversations.

I would say no, it is more wise to move on be the bigger person, life can be complex or simply you have chosen if the person is worth your energy and time.

Pray for him, yourself, the company. Ask a firm for a free consultation.

Maybe you could ask to get moved to a different section at work or shift temporarily until this issue is resolved.
