I have my licence suspended for not register an taging an insuring my cars paid off fine an got my licences back. Completly clean driver background though. Would this hurt me as my chances for truck driving

Probably not much if it's just minor traffic, not criminal

Eric, This situation may add points to your license, but you will be able to overcome it in time.

I use LEGALSHIELD.COM to keep me out of trouble...Have been member since 1996 just like AAA membership. They are not magicians, don't expect TV SHOW outcomes, but once member you can pickup a phone and call them and get an answer from a real lawyer...for a small monthly price/yearly membership. I confess, after member for 5yrs I am now an associate. Look them up, look at videos, get your overviews completed and then join. I have saved thousands in insurance increases and fines, not every time, but enough to feel I benefited myself and family... Good luck...you have a pending question...I suggest you join... P.S. they have CDLP plans too if you get your license and qualify. Warning. Do as you are told and follow your lic. laws which are tougher in ea. state. EVEN when driving your personal car... don't assume, learn and know cor your CDLP. Again, good luck.

Not at all.

Yes

Probably not. It's not a moving violation

Once you've paid the fines. And keep a good clean driving record. Then trucking school will welcome you on board. Good luck my friend.

Once you pay fines and tickets and restatement fee it should not effect you

WELL, IT SHOULDN'T. HOWEVER, NEGLECT is not something most employers want to see as a character trait. If you failed to get them insured and your tag purchased because you didn't have the money, that's one thing. If you just plain didn't do it, or procrastinated, well that's a whole different story. I would not hire you if the latter was the case.
I would go to traffic court and pay all fines and get your tags and registation paid even if you have to get a lawyer to do it because they could take away your license or suspend it.
