graduating college student
I am about to graduate with a philosophy and criminal justice degree. I have had the good fortune of my parents being able to help me out during my school years without having to work and focusing my attention to my school work. I wanted to become a lawyer but I am so frustrated with lawyers right now that maybe I would consider it in the future but right now I need to get a job and help my ailing parents. What would you suggest my choices would be with those kind of degrees but no experience at all. No bad comments please.

Christina congratulations on your soon to be graduating. Secondly sad you have to remind people to be kind to others by saying No bad comments please. As far as a job goes, I would try to look into a state government position or perhaps 911 emergency. They're hiring. If you really want to help your parents, just get a job until you get what you want. Wishing you all the best. Good luck

If the city you're closest to has openings for beat patrol try that if not go for Administrative positions such as Probation Officer or Cybertronic investigation .Everything else requires another degree

Hey Christina, I found this link that might be really good in finding options of jobs with a philosophy degree: https://philosophy.as.uky.edu/where-can-philosophy-take-me Hope it helps!!

Have you ever thought about being a Victim Services Legal Advocate for Kings Community Action Organization in Hanford, CA take a look at it and see if you like it and qualify. https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=9d0f398192604320&q=criminal+justice&l=93274&tk=1bcgkrmgga11ceuu&from=web
