sports management
I have a bachelors degree in sports management and an associates degree in business administration, have never been given a shot at any sports jobs ever even though I've been applying since 2010. Now I'm forced to work this dead end job where they refuse to promote me even though I have 7 years of experience working at the company. They change my boss every couple months, going on 15 bosses now whoohoo! I would love to work any job in the sports industry but they seem to have a blockade set up so you have to pay a membership fee to even look at the sports management jobs, so I don't know if ill ever have chance to work in the sports industry. Also at my current job, I go into set modulars at retail stores, which is basically extremely easy work but they pay these other reps astronomically more than me which I make basically minimum wage, and I can set mod circles around these people that act like their god's gift to reading a modular, it's not rocket science yet they take way to long to do a simple job and hire all these extra workers from out of town to come in and stand around and do nothing. It's hilarious I could have done an entire reset by myself in a shorter amount of time than 8 people standing around trying to read or correct a simple bread modular, and to top it off, they left the place a complete mess and didn't even finish the job, clearly these higher paid "reps" are just handed their jobs by whoever they "know"
Tim Ruffino , the sports industry is highly competitive. It takes a lot of networking with the right contacts to get your foot in the door. What area of the sports industry were you pursuing?
