Untruthfuly fired
So this might be a month or two old but my job has hired me through the company making 13$ an hour. I got hired on through the company until I dislocated my shoulder I was told to take a drug screen I go they told me my results there in which I was clean go back to work give me my badge back and a week later I failed.? I don't get it because I'm going to the navy I've been for a year but just was working to much I couldn't do anything
By any chance was this company Amazon? If so they do a very intensive screening mouth swab or hair sample... you can actually go through the temp agency that also do the hiring for them if it was Amazon... other than that get a lawyer companies should not be allowed to do such things... best of luck to you
They don't want to employ a failing investment. You failed the drug screen so they fired you. Now you're unemployed. The best bet is to limp until the shoulder is healed and then make money for another company in the future. Good luck.

There are different drug tests. Some are instant like in probation offices. Others are done in a lab & take a week. If you don't do drugs the results should be the same.
Talk to a lawyer it sounds like wrongful termination . I have been going through a similar situation over the last two and a half years
I'm an RN. It's standard procedure to drug test if injured on the job but if they tested you with a strip and all was fine the only thing I can think of is they sent it out to a third party who may (or may not have) have done a more extensive panel. Then they just st run your name thru the database and if you were issued a prescription you're good to go. So, if you know you weren't taking anything without a prescription, it's an unlawful termination. I would request in writing from your employer your test results.

I would have contested it due to the inconsistency and screamed lab error. I used to adminuster drug tests and i can't figure out why they did in office testing and sent it to the lab. Weird.
Mr. Cruz, I am sorry, for those corporate rats done to you. Mr. Cruz, like I been saying from my other writing. If you live in a State that dose not have Federal taxes that you pay then basically you have go threw the motion. You see this why we need to pay Federal taxes in our States. In case like this it falls in case to your favor, because what this nasty Corp suit's have done to cut corners to replace you to their more tasteful. But I guess you don't live in a state where you pay federal tax.. I work in Florida for a company, but my main residence is in northern state which they can't screw with me. Same if you had CA lic. But worked in Florida for a company that CA laws FL company dose not want to play with . The Federal laws will protect your rights as long you pay that Federal taxes in your state.. Collect your unemployment. And find out through Facebook or Twitter if anybody worked at the same job and we're fired the same conditions and filed suit as a joint suit But it's an attorney that's going to cost you out of your pocket. In the long run it's not worth it. Something better will come around. Ha! You might just win the Powerball and then you can them a picture. Keep the faith Mr. Cruz.. P.s.
