I need a job but can't walk
Hey everyone, does anyone have any ideas on where I could possibly get hired considering I'm unable to walk normally at the moment due to breaking 3 bones in my left leg back in June. I don't have any skills except being a cashier but that's something I'm unable to do and I don't think I will ever be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, I had a hard time doing that even before the accident. So does anyone have any ideas on where I could work or any legitimate work from home jobs? I'm a 57 yr old female.

I'm tired of applying to Amazon and various companies on line haven't had an interview as yet only calls about college ....and yes age matters I come with medical and business experience but can't find a job

You feel that you cant find a job because you are disabled. The truth of the fact is that no company can deny you work because of that fact. Also a company has to do whatever they can to make your situation easier on you. That is the law and if they refuse to do aney or both things due to your situation then you can sue them and press criminal charges.

Sounds like we're in the same boat I am also 57 and disabled but I'm currently for work hopefully from home. If it all works out I will let you know. Jerian

I know what are facing, really figure out what do you want to pursue in life, if college research a college to attend and if you do not have the funds sit down with the school financial counselor, maybe you want to start a business, besides traditional jobs look for work at home jobs; you may have to work several depending on the income you are looking for, try Live ops, Arise, TTEC, remote.co, Nexrep, ACD Direct, Alorica, Concentrix, Sitel, Sykes, Convergys, contractworld.jobs, working solutions-website-http://vyne.workingsol.com, Sutherland has some work at home jobs, Websites to sign up for for work at home jobs-Rat Race Rebellion, Real Ways to Earn Money Online, I could go on. For the most part most work at home jobs just require assessments and a background check. Additionally, for job assistance go the unemployment office for assistance, attend job fairs, research to see if your resume requires updating to stand out among your peers, or research programs in your city that offer job training and assistance. Almost every city has this and you may have to go to temp services. Network sometimes it is who you know to receive a job. Volunteering and internships have helped land jobs as well.
