Racial discrimination?

I was employed by a franchise and the owner is from India. I worked there for 9 months and was fired and replaced with someone else from India. Do I have grounds to file a racial discrimination lawsuit against him?

Contact the head of the company and find the corporate and discuss to them what this guy done. And get attorney they give free advice and you can even use Legal aid in your city will help. Also google and find out the main number on goggle and find a EO office and you can go online and create a file number on this guy. Here in Dallas they use bilingual to hire Hispanic women and men And when they get into a position and hire their own. Also one of my in-laws was working for the postal service and a Hispanic got fired for discrimination and she had 10 years. So she lost her job being unfair. Also the franchise may have another franchise and a job at a new one. Believe or not Our Americans of Causian population acuuatully give you most fair shake. Hey if they think your not a good fit and you don't a called. Burn the candle at both ends. Work the alleged victim of discrimination issue and keep it moving and pursue your job search as well. Some folks do what they do.
All are Haters who want to keep us down. Brother stay in the fight. God bless and keep God in your prayers for he is above us. And you will get your blessings. Shamgar in the Bible has the shortest verse in the Bible .And the concept he Shamgar was telling us use what you have

Possibly, but it depends on what documentation you have. If the person is from another country the PC courts tend to give them some room for understanding. Unless you have something saying "You are fired because I want another Indian person" you probably won't win due to speculation. India has a cast system, and they don't respect people equally. More people should question working for Indian owners of companies, but as long as they pay, people will work for them. Good Luck...

Possibly. What were the grounds for termination? What state are you in?

No. Your race didn't seem to matter when you got hired. Now that you are fired you are wondering if it was racially motivated? Who cares if the person replacing you is black, white, yellow, or red. That doesn't mean anything.

Move on to the next thing and put it behind you. Trying to prove racial discrimination is a timely and costly process.

Best of luck to you!
