Well as some of you will know I had gotten a job at the state prison 6 months ago. I went through three background investigationons drug testing spoke with my investigator and physical. All that was done within a two month time frame I passed everything with flying colors. It's been six months and I still haven't started working it's the prison I'm waiting for to conduct my security training with no start date in sight still after six months. I was already ready to get thrown out of my home with my kids this struggle is real... But I went to a job interview yesterday at Fort Irwin Army/Airforce base and landed a position as a store manager and I start work next Wednesday before my background investigation even comes back I'm stoked to finally start working after looking for a job for more than a year. The possibilities for advancement are unlimited. The prison job was 15 min from my house the Army base is 50 minutes from my house but the pay is well worth the drive. They can keep there prison job I'm done and over it with that place... I truly believe when one door closes another door opens. Don't give up keep looking there's something for every one out there . After putting in over a hundred applications in a years time I did it... finally.....
