Interview

I was called for an interview. While rereading the responsibilities I noticed that one area I do not have experience in. I am not sure if I should go to the interview. Maybe they did not read my resume carefully to see that I did not have that specific experience. It is one on many but I do not have it.

Diverse, hard working woman. Ready to start the next chapter in life!

I would still go! They may not even talk about that 1 area you may not have the experience in. Some sites have offered free online courses that maybe you can at least know something about it or read and familiarize yourself with that particular area on the basics and learn once you get the job

Hi Michelle C definitely go! You don't need to know every single thing. An employer creates that list and it's more of a wish list that they want a candidate to have. Very few people meet every single requirement so don't let that stop you! If you feel you are qualified and need to brush up on somethings for the interview go for it! You can still gain experience through the interview as well and it's better to take that chance than to be left wondering if you could have done it. You have got this!!
