So I just recently got out the Navy and I had my first job interview today, not exactly sure how it went. I felt that I was, for a lack of a better term, bland. I'm not really a conversationalist and I felt a lite subpar. Any tips for me?

If you are recently discharged from the Navy, you already have a head start over the other candidates. Am I correct in assumed it was an honorable discharge? What do you believe your superiors would say about you? Because the interviewers will contact them. Just make sure that if you are not hired, you ask the company how you can improve.

Just think you are being evaluated when your evaluation would come up in the navy , it’s just another company and google the profession your applying for and look at an live interview and interviewer in that type of job your applying for !!!!!!!

If you young and smiling in your profile pic..jobcase isn't the social place to tell your story. Kmsl

Be you!!! Try role playing with a friend to perfect your interview technique. There are helpful books out there to help as well

Wow, Navy! Cool!! Youll2get something, keep applying and I am starting to look at interviews like a meeting. A meeting to see if you really want the job and if they want to hire you.

You will be fine, still living Navy life.! The yrs spent in that disciplined life style will shine... Keep the faith and keep appling EVERYWHERE.

Definitely show them you have confidence. If you’re not quite sure how to answer a question then make sure to answer the question as though you really know what your talking about. Make sure to always bounce back with some positive or an accomplishment that you did a previous job that maybe relevant to the particular job you are applying for.

Just smile a lot be enthusiastic and have confidence
Hey @Zipporah Reynolds I noticed you recently updated your profile with a new job. Is the new job a result from this interview? If so, Congrats! Well done :-)
