I work for a multi billion dollar company. They actually have advised our staff to contribute to 401K and use as a savings plan and take loans against it for Christmas. I believe this is the worst advice I have ever received from an employer. They are upset because people are leaving in droves to work for another company. They have burnt their bridges with our staff. The lies the union dues who ate under the company's jurisdiction. All their paid for trainings are not trainings they are commercials for the company. I won't leave because I have seniority.
