I've been out of the work force for several years. I keep my license up anyway, as I'm not ready to quit. Are there any agencies out there that don't mind a huge gap in employment?

Yes they are agencies Ruth! I would recommend to find out if any of the local hospital near your area has a partnership with any staffing agencies. You can also, check out maxim staffing as another resource. Let me know if you need any more help
