I've been in the process of getting back into the workforce for the last couple of months now, since I moved to Alabama, but have not had any luck whatsoever. I needed to set my career to the side for about 4 years after I graduated from college so I could care for my father until his passing last year. What I have found is that without a stable work history, employment has become extremely difficult; furthermore, with employers looking at your credit report, that really makes things more challenging. My credit is tied up in student loans, but I have been unable to make any payments in the last 2 years; in my opinion, this is a very unfair/unjust practice. I'm open so suggestions, short of working fast food and manual labor.
